When the Kumiho reaches one thousand years of age it is said to be able to shapeshift. ![]() The Kumiho of Korea are said to be very similar to the Huli Jing as far as abilities go. Huli Jing have said to be responsible for the spread of Buddhism in China, and have taught young witches the ways of fox magick enough so to raise entire armies. Chinese foxes are earnest scholars, dedicated rakes, devoted lovers, seductresses par excellence, tricksters, poltergeists, drinking companions, karmic avengers, and always, always great moralizers.”( Source) “Foxes reached their full flower in China. These fox spirits are capable of obtaining human form, live indefinitely, and have otherworldly powers. Usually seen as signs of longevity and good luck, however there are many stories of them being painted in a negative light. The Huli Jing of China literally translates to “exquisite fox”. To give a general idea of what I and possibly we are working with, I will list here very general aspects of the types of Foxes that vary be region. I create illusions, glamours, seduction, and work with the Morrighan in order to accomplish goals. ![]() I take these aspects and use it as part of my craft. It is said that if a fox lives to be One-Thousand years old it will become a nine-tailed fox.įoxes throughout the world are considered sly and sneaky. Have you heard of a Kitsune, Kumiho(sometimes Gumiho), Kyuubi(ko), Huli Jing, or Nine-Tailed Fox? These are all the same thing though legends about the Nine-Tailed fox vary by locations.
